I thought they did sell him? Didnt he go united and they loaned him back but then never really cut it and ended back at palace anyway?I doubt it. The money they get for being in the premier is worth a lot more than Esse and the other fella who they'll be relying on to help keep them up. Same reason why they never sold Zaha in his pomp. He was worth hundreds of millions to them at the time.
I prefer to think that the 2 of them want away and their being in the dressing room will only cause problems that lead to relegation.I doubt it. The naughty Nigels don't take long to turn on a player or decide they're not good enough for them. That's what they've done with Eze who can blow hot and cold and under perform if he hasn't got decent players around him. He hasn't got Olise to play off now and is pretty ineffective without support. They had him down as the next Zaha who kept them afloat so expect/ demand the same.I prefer to think that the 2 of them want away and their being in the dressing room will only cause problems that lead to relegation.
When he was much younger and they did loan him straight back (well almost) along with a loan to Cardiff . He only played twice for united after they paid £10million for him.I thought they did sell him?
I think he’s in the bracket of “we can’t let this talent go unmissed, but we can’t guarantee first team football yet (premier league)”I have a feeling he will be on the bench somewhere in North London this time next year!
