Probably looking for a cheap deal, hope we keep him this season,and get 20mill plus like all the other championship clubs.
 
I'm sure premier league clubs would of been aware of him when he made the England squad, all the clickbait sites can write what they like about any one of them being interested as in some way they probably are
When the club says bids have been made then we will know he is on his way, Esse and the club wouldn't of agreed a new contract if both of them didn't know what price we expect for him.
 
They can sniff all they want unless they pay up the real value.the days of nicking our players on the cheap are long gone..we sell championship unused subs for 7m now
 
Completely unfounded rumours abound that his agent only agreed to the contract extension if there was a release clause included. That is probably bollocks, but agents these days are so nefarious I wouldn't put anything past them.

He is worth £15-£20m in my opinion, which is nothing to a Premier League team and when you consider that the sky is the limit in terms of potential, then we should include all sorts of lucrative add-ons if such a deal ever materialises. Personally speaking, if I were in charge then I would tell Palace that I dislike them immensely as a club and if they really want him then they need to pay through the nose.
 
I doubt he will be allowed to go in January. Maybe there will be a pre-contract agreement for a summer signing made in January with another club. He has just signed a long-term contract with 'Wall, so I presume this would be factored into a large transfer fee with add-ons with the interest he will probably attract.

I do think a lot of this is all a bit premature for an imminent sale though. He has had a few good games, the potential looks to be very positive and if he continues to improve like he is, I think bigger clubs with bigger budgets than Palace will come calling.

Although he will probably get double Nectar points if he signs for Palace.

It’s unreal, just a month or so ago “he’s not ready” “makes wrong decisions etc”. Now after stringing a few passes together and beat a few players he’s worth 20 mill 🤣
