Guess Peckham is busy.

A dispersal order has been issued ahead of Oxford United's match against Millwall.

Police said "a highly visible and robust policing operation" will be in place for the game at the Kassam Stadium tomorrow (November 30).
Section 35 dispersal orders will be enacted as a preventative measure to ensure the safety of fans and local communities in the area.
The orders give officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) the power to disperse individuals and groups of people causing harassment, alarm or distress from the locality.

Sounds like them Oxford Boys are a right handful.

14 out of 26 charged were from London... So 12 of those charged were from somewhere else, like Oxford perhaps? Not quite the one-sided rampage that the picture paints then, possibly...

Oxford away, the memories!

I meet a girl from Worcester in the early 70s and she invited me to stay over the weekend.

I drove up on the Friday night and told her I had a surprise for her on the Saturday.

She got dressed up to the nines. Stylish crocheted top, midi skirt and white knee-length boots👍. She showed me around Worcester in the morning then it was off for her treat.

“Where you taking me?”🤔 “It’s a surprise”😉

We set off and eventually she twigged we were heading in the direction of the university city of Oxford, cafe shops, sophistication, famous spires, architecture et al but was taken back when we stopped on the outskirts then set off on foot accompanied by thousands of others🤷‍♂️

You’ve guessed it, her surprise was watching Millwall away to Oxford at their old Manor Ground.

Standing amongst our enthusiastic vocal fans wasn’t the experience she was hoping for and, needless to say, the relationship didn’t last much longer 😞

BTW: I recollect we won that day 👍 hopefully a good omen for today 🙏

Most of the opposition started the last 2 games, 9 goals conceded.
I hope we don't start by sitting deep and letting them grow in confidence, an early goal from us could make the 90 minutes a lot easier for us.
