I don't remember any mention of trouble surrounding Nesbit until NH returned last season.
If AN wants to look at him in pre season, you would imagine the powers that be at the club backing that decision.
His goals and win yesterday will help us fee wise if he does move on though.
If we could see he was lazy then I'm sure the players and coaching staff could see it.
Fans don't know anything about what goes on at the training ground but if he had put in the same amount of effort as everyone else then wouldn't he of started far more games and not gone on loan to Aberdeen?

There’s one thing people seem to be missing here and that is does the player actually want to play for Millwall?
He didn't show many signs that he did when he was here. According to carpark man he had a bad attitude, did nothing to try and fit in, turned up late for training, didn't take well to being disciplined and lacked commitment. If that's the case Millwall isn't the place for a Billy big bollox. Probably best to cut our losses and get him off the wage bill.

That was weeks ago. A good finish without doubt but he never scored again and was subbed in their Cup Final Saturday.
He hardly touched the ball in last Saturday’s Final. Aberdeen only had 20% possession and Nisbet probably the least touches of the ball than anyone on the pitch.

A fair number of fans know what happens on the training ground , its not a closed shop

AN has played this exceptionally well so far. By saying that KN is returning to us for pre season, he's basically indicating that he sees a future for him at The Den.
Whether he does or not is immaterial, it's the message it sends to any suitors, "if you want our asset, he won't be cheap".
I would be amazed if he is with us beyond this window, however if he is, he will get my full backing.

Bump.

The poll was much closer than I expected. Actually I didn't expect it to be close at all. I thought it would be a big fat no. Interesting. Anyone changed their opinion, either way?

For a player to be top notch he needs physical ability and the right attitude.

With Nesbit he has the former but, so far, not displayed the latter.

I think those in favour (including yours truly) were/are hoping AN would provide the motivation for him to get his attitude to an acceptable level.

My gut-feeling now is he’ll be off soon 😞

All 4 managers that Nisbet has been under with us have the top level coaching qualification, Edwards hasn't been there done that but Harris and Rowett have and they are both hard working honest fella's, apart from hope why would AN make any difference to Nisbet's problems?
With hindsight we shouldn't of pursued the signing when he cried off the first time but what more proof do we need when Harris disowned him? Who better to know what makes a Wall player than Harris?

From the moment he arrived in London for talks he displayed a level of arrogance and zero humility. By all accounts the club were very very keen on him and had tried to acquire him prior to his injury. We took a step back cause the player hadn't fully healed from the serious injury that he sustained. Surely this should have set off alarm bells with the Millwall suits. Someone obviously had very high hopes for him but fuck knows why.

A potential raspberry that was unproven outside of park football on crack. Our pursuit of him looked desperate and may well have played a part in Nisbet behaving like a prima dona who seemed to think that rules didn't apply to him. I want him gone because above all he's a fucking idiot that ain't got the minerals to play for our wonderful club. He got his big money move with a chance to play on a big stage and he fucking melted. Swerved training and displayed zero desire to prove his worth and capabilities. He don't come across as the sharpest tool in the box does he!

We have a manager that's a proven winner, a talented, hungry, disciplined squad that want to go places. Then we have this mutton headed cockwomble with a shit attitude and zero awareness of what our fans and club are all about. He's basically took the piss out of us. Fuck him.

He has only proven himself(sort of) in the Scottish Premier but that's no guarantee of success in the Championship. But I suppose that there's a chance that it could work out if we brought him back. However, what would worry me most about him him is what his attitude could do the the rest of the squad if things go wrong. We're not strugglers desperate to get in another player. We've got a decent manager and a very good squad. Given how he behaved last year, it would be a huge gamble to put him back into the squad and it's a risk that we don't need to take.
