Fucking Gallen will choose him and will also be the judge on how he does. Maybe that's how James wants it. But who judges Gallen? He seems to have a pretty free rein. I don't trust Gallen and I don't like him.

How has this snake managed to acquire so much power at our club in such a short space of time?
My feelings echo yours but there are a fair few people on the board and he may just be carrying out their instructions. Normally the barstewards in firms hide behind others and so don’t get the flack they should. Bomber rarely spoke about Gallen and I agree with you. Until I’m convinced otherwise I think he’s a devious James Hunt. If they balls it up again this season they can probably kiss goodbye to Championship football and hopefully the decision makers are held fully accountable.

It'll be a Johnny foreigner no one has heard of because he will adhere to the Director of Football regime we seem to have now.

I've gone for Wagner. I'd be really interested to see how we do with a German/Klopp style pressing game, as I think it could really suit us moving forward. I think some of the other options would try to get us playing out from the back/possession football too much which could be our downfall.

Someone must have convinced the Chairman to go down the route they are, and it would surprise no one if that person was our current DOF who has no successful history in that role, he was at Charlton ffs how can that be classed as success.

There is not much wrong with the team at the moment we move the ball from back to front quickly but our problem is the final third, we do not have the quality to deliver the ball to our front players and rely too heavily on dead ball delivery which also lacks the quality required.

Our back four and goalkeeper are solid but have too many defensive midfielders.

Cooper for me, but don’t think we have the playing budget he would want. None of the others inspire me.

out of them i'd prefer Cooper. People saying "hes too good for us" etc sums up the total lack of ambition among some of our support which drives me mad. Just been sacked by Leicester. Not long ago we outplayed them at the Den, Not a huge gap between the clubs so really dont understand the "he's too good" - he fucking aint.

Where has Wagner come from? Has he come into the betting then (not a gambler so never read betting sites)? Fits with what the former fan on the board said about next coach being from overseas.

Wagner has failed in his last two jobs and failed badly.

Robins did brilliantly at Cov but terribly elsewhere and there's a question mark over how much influence his assistant had on the team.

Ryan Lowe. No better than Rowett or Harris.

Matt Bloomfield. Been a manager for 5 minutes. Done well at Wycombe but so did Ainsworth.

Rowett will guarantee Championship football comfortably but the football is dull. Don't think he'd come back anyway.

Cooper. Would be an unreal appointment if we could get him. Proven at this level, won the World Cup with England youth, track record in improving and coaching young players. Would be too expensive for us I feel.

Maybe the club need an experienced manager at this level who knows the club and will get the players to play for the shirt, be hard to beat and every now and then, bloody a few noses and beat teams with far bigger and better resources and players.

Now where could we get someone like that?

Probably prefer cooper from that list, but have a hunch they have lined up wagner for some time as he's been at our place a few times recently

Wagner did an unbelievable job at Huddersfield including keeping them up for a season against all the odds. Lost in the play-offs with Norwich. Plays decent football. Robins had a lot too spend and they’re not over pleased with him up there and not done a lot elsewhere. can’t see Cooper coming. I’m backing the Kraut, think he might be a good fit.

Come on mate there’s a bit more to him than that, he was also the actual manager of Pegasus…a team in Hong Kong, although he only lasted 5 months. He was also the assistant manager of the Montserrat national for a couple of months too so yeah, along with his stewardship of Charlton Athletics descent into oblivion he seems the perfect man to entrust our future to.
