New away kit

That would have depended on the Marketing budget and I get the feeling that Millwalls wouldn't stretch that far. Some companies I have worked for that have used outside companies for researching the market (boots on the ground) can charge anything up to 50,000 - 100,000 and a lot more in some cases and for the amount of supporters we have, the ROI wouldn't be worth the effort.
I did not think they would need to pay someone to help.

The least they could do is canvas the Junior Lions (and their parents) as the youngsters are the ones most likely to wear the kits. Surely we have some staff in the merchandising dept who could send out a blanket email and count the Junior Lions and their Parents responses.

Millwall could probably get some information by word of mouth etc but it'd be pretty flaky data and they would never get the information they require if they are serious about their Marketing... possibly the likes of Man City/Real Madrid etc who'd send their Marketing requirements externally to agencies who specialise in this, as their fan base is huge at home and also have a global presence it'd be worth spending that sort of money because they would get their ROI multiplied for sure.

By what I have seen in the Millwall shop, I'd be very surprised if any of them have a clue to what the fans actually want.

It doesn't take a genius to work out that you look at the latest fashions (without ripping off brands) and making something similar with the 'Lions' logo/branding on it that is subtle for casual use, or something more 'sporty' for match day/Gym wear that people will WANT to wear... it's this sort of information that decent Marketing agencies acquire. It all comes down to cost at the end of the day and maybe Millwall just don't have the financial resources to be more adventurous yet. Maybe this season will be different?

If I was inclined to wear replica shirts this kit would match my eyes 👀 but I don’t, personally I don’t love it but we’ve had worse.
Some years back we were given options of different designs to vote for but for the away kit and third kit it should be yellow and black and white and blue. Green, red and orange have no place on a Millwall shirt.

Yeah, it’s not like lots of our fans wear the replica shirts, so I doubt it’s an earner for the club. They probably barely break even.

Bloke came into my showroom today, I've got about 20 Millwall shirts up from over the years - he gave me a Captain Morgan Green & White away shirt - original with all the English League badges etc - Mick McCarthy gave his side a complete set for his Sunday side Boscombe Celtic - that was a decent Green and White kit - this new one isn't

100 per cent correct!
