Nesbitt

Harris is a "poor man's Southgate".
Some players are never given a chance

You are entitled to your opinion, but in my opinion that is a load of rubbish. Nisbet had plenty of chances . He went on the lash all summer when the likes of Flemming and Bryan worked hard on their fitness and reported back in incredible shape.

Again, this is just my opinion, but you should show a bit more respect for Harris, a man who has done more for Millwall as a player and a manager than almost anyone in our history.

I stay up in NE scotland. Aberdeen fans are really happy to get him, and have been asking why we let him go. As someone said earlier in thread.F@ck him

Agreed, and if NH gets us promoted this season he will equal George Graham’s achievements in the first 2 seasons

I agree, however he did go on holiday to Vegas with Longman! Could this be a reason for the cold "shoulder". Only my opinion.

He reminded me a bit of Richard Sadlier, you could see there was a good footballer there and hoping he would go on to be a great one for us, sadly Sadlier had to retire, makes me despise Nisbet when players like Sadlier have the opportunity taken away from them whilst he wastes his chance in the way he has.

Hopefully Nisbet will perform well for the Dons and we can get a chunk of what they received for Miovski from them 🙏

Sorry, but I have no respect for him as a manager

When Southgate gets a few promotions to wipe out his one relegation at his only club then you can compare them.

Southgate has top players to work with and is still a clueless and weak manager.

I'm not going to dig you out for saying that, just wonder why that is? I read a lot about people not rating Harris as a manager so here's his record.

Harris took over after the Holloway shambles, got us into the play-off final, which we lost. Second season we squeaked into the play-offs on the last day and won 1-0 against Bradford and got promoted.

In our first season back we finished 8th. The following season we finished fourth from bottom. Harris resigned after a 1-1 draw away to Luton in 2019 when we were in 20th.

He became Cardiff manager and finished 5th and lost in the play-offs v Fulham. He was sacked in January 2021 with Cardiff in 15th.

Harris took over from Steve Evans as Gillingham manager in 2022, he couldn't save them from relegation. Gillingham started the next season badly but results improved drastically and they finished comfortably in 17th. Harris was sacked in October 2023 with Gillingham in 5th place.

Cambridge were in the bottom four when they appointed Harris in December 2023. When we approached him to become manager after sacking Joe Edwards Cambridge were mid-table.

Harris took over when were in 21st place, one point above the relegation zone. We finished 13th after taking 26 points from 13 games.

Now I'm not saying he is Guardiola or Ferguson or Ancelotti. But that is a pretty good managerial record.

Full managerial record:

P 431 W 171 D 116 L 144. 40% win percentage.
