Mikey Moore

Whilst he would be a good signing, it is a position we are overloaded in and in the long term, what would be the point of stopping one of our young signings from playing?
Surely if he is a better player and has some premier league quality and experience it’s a better bet than playing an inferior player in the same position? If the quality is genuinely better it’s a no brainer for me and the other will have to wait their turn. He’s a big Millwall fan as well

Maybe the money would be better spent on a position where we don't strength in depth e.g. LCB, LB?

I personally don't know what would be better if the situation arose that we have a good player for just one season at the expense of Bangura/Lovelace/Baker/Mayor/Emakhu that don't play much and would put back their progress.
I get he is a real fan but unless we have a chance to sign him at the end of the season, I can see a good reason not to sign him.

Three of those names have suffered with some injury problems, one had been out on loan and the other blows hot n cold..Azzez has been injured along with Neghli..Another might not hurt and for the U21's is there another ready to make the step up?..
Although I do agree there are areas that need attention.

A loan with an option to sign permanently would be a good situation. Not sure how long his contract has left. I understand he is highly rated and has broken into the first team, and loves Millwall, what’s not to like. With the new incoming manager at Spurs, he might not be fancied any longer. Could be a good young player that could be had cheaply and developed. Hopefully Zak Sturge at Chelsea as well

We’re not gonna get him cheaply, if at all. While it may be true that a new manager will want to run the rule over him the fact is that he is highly regarded by the club who tied him to a long term contract as soon as he turned 17.

If Tottenham were to send him on loan my understanding is it probably would be to West Brom where ex Tottenham youth boss Ryan Mason has just took over or more likely Southampton whose new manager Will Still is a long term admirer of his.

I was chatting to Mickey’s nan and grandad and two of his uncles last week. They know the lad is not coming to Wall or West Brom for that matter.
This was before big ange got the boot. I hope Mickey breaks into the Tottenham’s first team proper and has a top future with them and England.
The Moore’s are a lovely family whose support for Millwall goes back generations.
Maybe in years to come when Wall are in the prem 😳Mickey may play for the team he grew up supporting and still does.
