The whole of the 1985 FA cup run was amazing. Proud to say I went to every game
Weymouth away 3-0, we were banned, I managed to get in, got a mate in Plymouth to get some tickets posted to him, then on to us - think there was around 100-150 of us.
Barnet at home, 1-0 pretty dull afair
Palace after a replay - 1-1 then 2-1,Took over Selhurst Park as per usual
Chelsea away 3-2, bonfires on the terraces, Speedie missing a penalty and a pure evil atmosphere
Leicester at home 2-1, where they had Lineker and Alan Smith up front and we had 16,000 at The Den (felt & sounded like 160,000), usual home gate awas around the 5,000 mark.
Then Luton away 1-0 defeat, what can I say. Free to get in as well, after the turnstiles were smashed in. What a night to say that I was there.
Decent write up here, but I really don't get the "other London fans turned up, Chelsea & The Vermin" I can honestly say that I never saw, met or talked to anyone other than Millwall.
Never met any Millwall fans since, that saw, met or talked to anyone other than Millwall.
