Tad busy cunt*I'm going to get a tad busy here
You cycled to - from Hither Green to the Den?Hither Green Station & I was so wet I popped in the pub for a pint
From New Cross to the Den then after the game all the Lime Bikes had gone so found one by the old ground and cycled back to Hither Green. It’s not difficult they’re electricYou cycled to - from Hither Green to the Den?
And I'm sure we have more than our fair share P, but hey ho.I had to look that up. I was right in thinking it's a Gaelic term and pretty sure my old man used it from time to time. Especially when he was steamed up and mumbling to himself ( again)
The younger generations over here are far too modern to use useful Irish phrases like omadan any more unfortunately. Gobdaw is another good one.I had to look that up. I was right in thinking it's a Gaelic term and pretty sure my old man used it from time to time. Especially when he was steamed up and mumbling to himself ( again)
Harris Harris Harris - Out Out Out.7 unbeaten - 1 loss in 10 games. Yeah, shit.
I'm guessing that one or two supporters learned not to leave until the final whistle.I only learnt one thing, don’t get a Lime Bike in the pissing rain
Cheat* Seriously, fair play on a day like today cause you could have swerved it and got the rattler.found one by the old ground and cycled back to Hither Green. It’s not difficult they’re electric
Well I did get the rattler, from home to New Cross & back home from Hither Green. Yes, the Station Hotel, really busy in there at 6:15 ish. You couldn’t afford to live round there now & I didn’t see any fat birds. Just all Labour types on a grand a week, into yoga & sourdoughCheat* Seriously, fair play on a day like today cause you could have swerved it and got the rattler.
I used to knock around Hither green in my teens. Had Wall mates that lived on Staplehurst road and on the estate around the corner on Manor park. Was very much a Millwall manor back then.
Do you have your pint in the station hotel? I got very drunk in there one night as a 17 year old and woke up the following morning squashed and half underneath an absolute munter who had problems with her feet. She couldn't keep them out of cakes shops* Big fat cunt that had more chins than the China. When she got up for a piss i fucked off by climbing outta the bedroom window and having it on me toes. Fucking Lager googles ha!!
Nice, but what does it mean?I had to look that up. I was right in thinking it's a Gaelic term and pretty sure my old man used it from time to time. Especially when he was steamed up and mumbling to himself ( again)
Mate a 4 bedroom on my road in Costa del Peckham has just gone for £1.1 million. Bloody lunacy but the Ruperts love it around here and it's almost fully gentrified now. I put that down to me living here* When i moved in the house prices rocketed up by £13 to £15 quid on some streetsYou couldn’t afford to live round there now
A fool, idiot or simpleton.Nice, but what does it mean?
Same around here mate. Loaves of bread going for £6.50 at my local bakersinto yoga & sourdough
Quickest translation is that an amadan is a fool. Or eejit.Nice, but what does it mean?
All true, but fuck me he did everything right today !!I think the coaching team will continue to manage Emakhu's progress studiously. He's no way the finished article and is still learning the game and about this division. He's taken a big step up from the Irish league that he came from and is also in the process of growing and bulking up. He's shown in the past that he can mess up and chose the wrong options so he still has lots to learn.
After his daily training at Calmont he goes on to extra classes on the technical side of the game as all the youngens do. I think he's been managed very well and is certainly a work in progress. He'll be a real handful and huge asset once he becomes the finished article!!
That'll be the coaching that he needed. A lot of his coaching/ learning curve will be what he does without the ball and when we're not in possession. He's clearly a natural talent that likes to attack and go past players. Once he learns his game management and other duties i think we'll see more of him. He's doing a lot of theory work/ studying at the academy after training. All true, but fuck me he did everything right today !!
He comes across as a good Christian lad with his head screwed on, he has talent but like you say hes raw. He will come good i think because of his attitudeThat'll be the coaching that he needed. Bloody hell Phil are you never satisfied. I bet you're a real laugh to be in the pub with.Harris needs to grow a pair and play 2 up front from the start ; we need more options when attacking apart from infamous Harris hoof ball & we are far too slow going forward need to speed things up
