Last Post from Millwall yesterday

In all seriousness though, we always do these thing well.
We do, there are some wonderful people that do the organising. An absolute diamond and real good egg that is involved with HOF does much of it along with others. It's one of a few things that got Mr Berylson so attached to us when he first arrived. He couldn't believe the respect and pride that we had for our service men and women. Him being a former marine himself made it even more impressive.

That's fantastic. And makes his loss hurt all the more.

Not sure if anyone else noticed but the bugler at Sheffield Wednesday missed out 9 bars of The Last Post on Saturday. Thought maybe I'd misheard it at the time but didn't think I had. Just checked it on the match playback and I was right.
Not digging him as I know how hard it is to play from cold in front of a silent crowd but very unusual for it to happen like that.

The trumpet is known for its bright, strident, brash sound, while the bugle is known for its darker and mellower tone. Today, the term “bugle” can simply mean a brass instrument without valves or slides.

At the end of the day everything goes up the bugle
