Well I can finally tick Hillsborough off my list... and no this isn't a match report, others have that professionally covered.

Now as a once regular away and one who would always break escorts and get in to handbags with the locals in the 90's and 00's... there were some strange goings on today with our fans.

We still have the comedy factor, always taking the piss.... but there's some strange fckers following us nowadays.

Most confusing was a load singing "Engerland Engerland" to Sheffield Wednesday? WTF? And also singing we hate Leeds... well so do Wednesday ffs.

And some of the abuse directed at the train staff on the way home was bang out of order, we usually have a bit of class... we've seem to have lost that.

That saying I really enjoyed today and so did my boy, so we'll be going to a few more longer distance away games this season.. Probably starting with Cardiff.

I love an away day mate. Always a decent turn out and the hard core behind the team.

Can’t call the mix of fans, as I stick to making it a laugh for my boy, but understand your sentiment. Respect is a loose word nowadays - some need to adopt it pronto.

The England thing was probably a nod towards the counter protests in London on the same day? Or that some Yorkshire folk talk of themselves being a republic? Fuck knows.

Thought that, but they sung it in the ground, in Sheffield, and back in London... all just a bit weird
