Thoroughly enjoyed yesterday. It's very early days but hey took Ipswich apart and scored a blinding second goal. Early days but the signs are encouraging.

Don't want to get overly orgasmic but Afobe could be the answer to get the goals we need. A tap in for the 1st ,point is he was where a striker should be in the box.if it had been bod or brad they would have still been on the halfway line.his 2nd a well made goal. It must have given his confidence the world of good.

Have to say that the way Afobe worked so hard to keep the ball in play and was then quickest off his toes to finish the move and score reminded me so much of Zohore it was uncanny....

I think Andy Woolmer (one of Northamptonshire's finest) is the only referee left on the circuit born before I attended my first ever game at the Den in April 1966 - by about a week or so.

I remember seeing him officiate on the localish non-League scene yonks ago.

Now aged 55, expect most of his duties this season to be as 4th official...
