How we got nothing from this game is worrying....best team in the first half but we really created very few chances....2nd half again we were the better team but 2 quick headed goals took the game away from us....strange how we are conceding goals from dead balls...missing hutch defo at the back.....got back into the game with Beni taking a good chance & then missed a golden chance to equalize when in front of the goal Malone hit the ball....they went up field got a long throw in and yes another headed goal and that was that .....again we I feel played the wrong tactics.....lots & lots of long high balls to beni ...don't think he won one header....complete waste of time....needed it to feet..jed,Seville ,Evans ,Romeo just average if that....looked better when Smith came on but at the expense of a angry looking cooper....really need a good look in how we play...just not working in the final third and when did our defence concede 3 headed goals in one game...same marking error was the b,burn game......but all the news will be about the scuffle in the crowd......just yards away ....over zealous stewards giving it large to some of our fans & the invitation was accepted.....the stewards took a pretty beating before the plod turned up and escorted 2 of our lads away......hope the film of the crowd the police were making all game will show what really happened..... Very hostile stewards & police. all game.

It was the stewards getting a clump from where I saw it.....pushed between the seats and then it began.....also happened to their supervisor on the other side of the stairs.....handbags in all reality but blown out of all propotion cause it,s us.......watching quest early in one 2nd division match fans invaded the pitch to protest against the owner ......not a report anywhere.........?

Thanks for your brief take on the game P54. It is always good to hear from somebody who was actually at the game. The highlights reflect pretty much what you said. Benik took his goal well which bodes well for the season. Could you imagine either KZ or Parrott doing that? If Molly’s shot had crept under the bar then it could all have been a different outcome. The video of the scuffle looked like handbags.
Who wore the armband when Cooper went off? I looked at the highlights and thought it might have been Murray but that did not look like the case.

I thought yesterday we looked lethargic on the ball and created virtually nothing , except from Malone in the first half with some tricky play out wide and played ball into Afobe whose shot was blocked. Game looked like a nil nil , until we decided to go missing for crosses into our box. We then go a bit desperate in attack and actually look like doing something….. I’m getting bored of us setting up not to get beat , let one in and then try and attack. So every poor displays yesterday , with Wallace and Saville looking especially quiet. Cooper had a shocker in the air yesterday and also at fault with the needless free kick he gave away for their first goal. For certain we have to improve all over , otherwise this could be a very dull boring season.

Going back to the Fulham game, changes should’ve been made after 10 minutes when they were 2-0 up. QPR Saturday 2-0 down after half hour, bang he makes 2 subs and another one at half time and look what happened. That’s the difference.
