Half Season Tickets

’d like to get one for the youngest grandson. To be fair, he already has all the kit but I took him Sunday and he was even more hooked.
:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Beautiful to hear mate.

I can't for the day that i get the chance ( if we get a grandson ) to do the honours.

I have asked car park man and will report back if and when he gets back to me with some news on the half season ticket.

Mid to late November is the usual starting point for sales. They become active around the last week of December.

I was going to get him a junior membership but a season ticket is obviously better.
P.s. To purchase a ticket on the day with no membership was a tenner & he’s only six! So hopefully it will save me money as well ;)

I think my boys first season ticket worked out at a fiver per game. Great value and incentive from the club to get them keen as early as possible.

It's when you have to get them their first young adult- 18+ ST that you wince a bit cause it's a big rise but still good value.

Before lockdown the season tickets for the younger kids were only £23 (& they’re only £50 now)

On sale now, but on the official site the price structure was all wrong (I think) or if not the prices were a liberty. No doubt someone cleverer than me can explain it all

I was looking to get one but those prices are a piss take. You hardly get any discount compared to walk ups. Maybe a few quid. I’ll probably miss a couple of games in the new year so it’s not worth my while.

Can you put up a link please mate cause i can't find anything with the prices

I was going to get one for my daughter but I could've got her a full one at £58. Offer is now £44 which isnt quite half..
On top of that she wanted a Tanganga number 6 shirt... since when have we been charging £68 for a shirt with a name for an 8 year old child?
I hope my proceeds go to the club and not some Chinese hard labor camp.

The prices are absolutely ridiculous.
The cheapest adult early bird season ticket was £370 for 23 games in the CBL Lower. Now it’s still £300 for only 11 games.
It was £50 for the whole season for an under 12 and now it’s £44 for (less than) half a season. Answers on a postcard?
Probably because the club are hoping to go on a good run and thus have plenty of sell outs (or close to) during the rest of the season. They don’t want to give seats up for too much cheaper than they’d get from walk ups. I don’t agree with it but I suppose that’s their logic.

It's a bit harsh to use early bird prices when comparing the cost of the half season ticket. The prices were frozen again this season too.

Understood but pro rata it still works out that you’re paying the equivalent to over £600 for a season ticket in the CBL Lower and around £700 in the Barry Kitchener Upper.
The only real incentive is to be higher up the pecking order for away games etc.
The prices are bound to go up next season though, that’s for sure

There is a small saving if you consider the booking fee's and postage costs were you to get individual match tickets. Blackburn at home would cost me £31 plus postage. Qpr which will be a cat A game is £37 before you add the booking and postal fee's. Over 11 games you may save a bullseye which is better than a kick in the bollox. If you want a decent team you have to pay decent wages which we do. That money has to come from somewhere. It's the nature of the beast unfortunately mate.
