Goalkeeper issue

Obviously it's the elephant in the room scenario for us, but will obviously need addressing at some point. Note that Ipswich keeper has let his contract run down as is now available . Played every game last season .....worthy of a punt maybe

Which will get sorted, I don't think we will ever have the club posting on the members only page with every detail of their transfer intentions with the message ' don't tell anyone else'.

I think you have to "retire" the number foe 1 maybe 2 seasons and then put a 20 M.S. on the from of the shirt for this season

Just a question
Yep, no criticism intended, implied or otherwise.
Just my opinion that I find that particular gesture a bit cringeworthy.
Especially so as I would think many fans didn't pay much attention to his number anyway.
I have to admit I can't say I even knew his number, therefore, I wouldn't really notice if it were reused or not. Therefore, a bit of a meaningless gesture, in my opinion.

I thought that we were in line to sign Neil Etheridge as our number two. He played for NH at Cardiff, was the number two at Brum and it really did look as if he was coming our way. I read today that he has signed for some club in Thailand so he clearly is not coming to us. So, now we are left with Conal Trueman who nobody has seen play plus two U21 keepers who are untried and untested. Surely we need to pull our finger out and sign somebody to wear the gloves. Maybe we have targets and we are close to signing a keeper but there is no news yet! Does the man in the car park know anything? As it is maybe we are trying to tempt Marshall out of retirement or play rush goalie?

I wonder if we get the money we spend on a keeper wiped off our FFP because of the circumstances?

I know this is a bit (lot) distasteful, but, money wise alone Sarkic would have been insured for a lot more than we paid for him. A 26 year old international on the up. Obviously noone wants money in these circumstances but when it comes to pounds, shillings and pence, we will be financially better off.

My old man always said he was worth more dead than alive and sadly he was right too
