I can’t believe we haven’t signed a defender yet.

I think Hull are bringing in a overseas player, ST today. He maybe a replacement for Honeyman.I’m just wondering why Hull are letting him go!?

One Hull supporter thinks the fee will be in the region of £1.2M - £1.5M! Other Hull supporters are saying that the club has offered to double his salary, but he’s refused it, and it’s more to do with the length of contract which is the sticking point!I’m just wondering why Hull are letting him go!?

Perhaps Hull have offered him a further two years on top of the 1 year he has left, and Honeyman wanted three extra years (making a total of four?)
Maybe GR has offered him a 3 or 4 year contract? He’s 28 in a couple of months time, so a 4 year deal would be good security for him and his family (if he has one!)
Unfortunately, he’ll be 32 in 4 years, so there won’t be a chance to sell him on for a good profit! Perhaps we can sell him to the spotters for £500,000, then he can spearhead their midfield attack in the European Cup?
