Flemming

It's the internet i think mate. Social media is a cesspit. It's very divisive and the truth doesn't unless it suits. You can post up genuine quotes from someone but people will continue to question, doubt or just completely dismiss what's been presented in front of them. Some of the stuff i've seen said about Harris on all Millwall platforms is pure fabrication and done out of spite. Same for some of our players.

Once a person is disliked that is it. No coming back. I had it today with someone offline. For unknown reasons he hates Harris. So everything negative happening is down to Harris. He don't fancy one of our signings so it's Harris's signing, Signings the fella has taken a liking to are Gallens ( until they have a shit game )

Same with Rowett. If the player was a Rowett signing he's automatically shit. If he's good he's Aldos signing When we lost it was Rowetts signings that lost us the game but they never won us one :grinning:

I'm at the age and at the stage where i'm not far away from ridding myself of it all. The majority of people that we're interacting with on a daily basis are people that you go within a mile of in the real world yet we suffer them online. They can influence your moods, thoughts, ideas etc

Was really proud of my boy last week on a decision he made. He's 25 now so until recently was glued to his phone cause that's where people his age live, fart, socialise etc. He binned off his flash iphone and got himself an oldish nokia . He now leaves it at home when he goes out. He don't go online with it or let it define his day. After only 10 days he says the difference in his whole outlook, mood, happiness, everything has changed for the better. He's now in his world and focussed on what's most important and beneficial to him.

The same lad that couldn't get his nut around how i coped because i refuse to use my phone to go online. I go out without a phone. I might upset a few thousand people now when they see this post but i think people that sit down for a meal ( anywhere ) and take a picture of it to send it to someone else who has no fucking interest in the pic cause they're fucking taking a pic of there last shit to send it to someone who'll completely ignore it cause they're taking a pic of a fucking dead cat to send it to some cunt who's filming himself fucking filming himself.

It's got that bad and people going nuttier by day that i now after 53 year on this planet have come to the conclusion that i'm fucking normal and quite well balanced.

That fucking scares me mate

Stop the fucking world i want to get off :grinning:

Rowett out

The Old kent road is lefty cunt etc
Very good post mate 👍

Typical Harris hater response. How is it that Harris has sucked the creative life out of us when we had Rowett for 4 years before that? Far less creative than any side Harris has ever put out.
First 3 games this season, 6 goals, hit the woodwork 4 times and had 2 cleared off the line. How is that not being creative and all without your wonder boy Flemming.
Spot on mate.

The positive with Zian's loan transfer, we will get £7 million + for him at the end of the season, a good profit. Also as a loan he can't play against us this season unless there is some clause been added. We will find out on Sunday 3rd November.

Flemming got stick on here all last season - too slow, cant tackle, not interested. Suddenly everyone loves him, the club are shit and he's our best player.

He's gone, get over it.

On the plus side, we have signed a PL centre back, a big Liverpool prospect at LB, a couple of young tall forwards that everyone has been crying out for, an exciting winger and an experienced Championship midfielder among others and all from the profit on Flemming

No guarantees any of them pay off, but personally I'm well happy with our business and looking forward to seeing how things play out
...and not to forget, possibly the most important signing, getting Esse tied up to a longer term deal.

Actually wrong on 2 counts. I don’t “hate” harris at all. Great servant to the club and actually a decent bloke, spoke to him on the way back from the Spanish games as I was on the same flight. What I hate is the lack of creativity and his boring managerial tactics.
2. This ain’t about Flemming. Not as good as some think he is. But there is no doubt he was the one creative outlet we had. The crime here is not letting him go, it’s not replacing the role and leaving us with 15 defensive midfielders

The key to signing new players was Flemming leaving, it took time to sort everything out, and it went down to the wire. Harris would have liked to have new players in early, hence his frustration. The international break will give him time for the new players to settle in. They could not risk Flemming playing as his sale funded the purchases. Sensible business. Hopefully they will all settle in quickly, changing countries, homes, is unsettling. The best signing was Esse, we have to expect mistakes, but in my opinion he could go on to be something special. Get behind them, we are supporters we are meant to support.

I do actually yes. It’s just as tedious and boring to watch and now he’s adjusted the personnel to suit those tactics even further by sucking what creativity we had out of the team. Let’s see how many Jake Cooper diagonals we get today? Harris clearly doesn’t want to play creativitly
The signings may get a showing today or not...So I'm not judging our season or Harris on what happens today...
We have creativity in the team..
Esse / Azeez / Whatmore/ Mayor if we can hit the byline which Azeez and Mayor are clearly here for we now have target men to aim at..
Give it a month and see what gives then

If the club knew Flemming was going they wouldn't wait more than 3 weeks to get the deal done.

Really good point with Mayor… like a new signing really with him being injured, with him and Azeez on the wings could be exciting times. Liverpool lad sitting behind and by all accounts likes to get forward as does Leonard on the other side. Hopefully new strikers will feed off that, Tanga at the back and workhorses in the middle suddenly the whole look and feel of the team has changed. I’m excited as to what the future holds, immaterial of what today’s result brings, albeit for some it will be the worst transfer window in living memory if we don’t win today!!

I was with you all the way there, until the Old Kent Road. Don't you know some very Right-Wingers have moved in over recent years. Some even go to watch Dulwich Hamlet.

Fleming was an asset for us. Having said that, I think that he is a good C'ship player and not PL quality.

It was rumoured that Burnley were willing to pay £10m for him last season. Personally, I would have taken that offer. However, we got another season out of him and £7m+ is not be sniffed at.

So thanks, Zian and good luck. We don't owe each other anything and we both move on.

Steady on,we ain't sold him yet.We MIGHT get ,7 mil next year...we might not.

From the Southwark News:

The deal is initially a loan until the end of the season but includes an obligation on Millwall’s Championship rivals to complete a permanent £7million signing plus add-ons for the attacker.

So a £7m pound sale for a player with 1 year left on his contract. I don't see that as bad business. Would I have liked him to stay on, probably, but I would have been hacked off in a years time if he just decided to walk like Jed did.

If he is a success there and gets sold the club will get more. This is how you build a little kitty for new transfers. Other clubs are doing it and it looks like that is now our plan.

It's quite sinple. Don't then.
I'd like to know why Harris is getting blamed for showing Flemming out the door. Well i do know why but what i mean is how can people claim that without being able to prove it. It;s a business decision taken by the board. Flemmings fee has payed for some decent signings and we've made a profit.

The player would only be out the door if he agreed to go. He was under contract and didn't have to go anywhere.
