Flemming

Interesting to hear Rowett after the game on Saturday say that Flemming has been doing extra work in the gym since he signed to bulk up a bit which makes sense because in his early matches he seemed to get caught out a few times by being outmuscled. Now he looks like he’s really settled in and eight goals by mid November isn’t a bad return at all, especially considering he missed a few games early on.

Flemmings third goal at Preston showed that little bit of pedigree that we’ve lacked for a long time. Any other player would have snatched at that chance and blown it but Zian made it look a lot easier than it was with his composure and neat finish. It’s that kind of quality that turns a draw into a win and could make all the difference in grabbing a top six place come May.

He really is a talented footballer, has plenty of tricks, great vision, doesn't shy away from a battle and reads the game extremely well. We haven't had that for some time! Credit to the manager for getting him on board, think he'll only get better with more games under his belt. As you say, he could be the difference between a draw and win, again, something we've been missing for some time.
