Absolutely top quality full back for us and QPR, and it wasn't that long ago - I'm amazed he's cleaning ovens.
I suppose I'm assuming he is forced into cleaning ovens, but actually maybe he just does it for a few extra quid or maybe it's his company...
I'm sure he got an England cap didn't he? Or maybe it was England B.

I remember meeting one of his family some time ago, his sister I think, and her being quite surprised that I spoke of his time at Millwall with such high praise.

This is part of the jinx we’ve got on them, I think they went 2 up that night with only 6 mins left, we got one back then he cut in from the left and creamed a right footer into the top corner at the cold blow, happy days ..

He played 400+ games and spent 14 seasons playing in the top two divisions. Any player nowadays with that sort of career, who managed their money with a bit of care, wouldn't have to worry too much about their future (from a financial point of view).
