Chatted about his time at Millwall, really decent bloke.

It had me thinking, if he played nowadays he would have made £Ms and never have to work again after he retired. Unfortunately, players were not as spoilt or overpaid in his days. Shame.

I still have not forgiven Fashanu for giving up chasing a through ball against Bradford in the eighties. Lazy bastard could have scored if he’d kept going.

It was Danny Salman who did that BP. Funnily enough me and my son were talking about it last week. A great match that was.

Dawesy was a magnificent player and probably one of the best value buys Millwall have ever made, I think we paid about 150k for a him and he had several years of top flight experience and was still only in his mid twenties.
