It’s not that Champs, it’s all the bolloxs that goes with it. I don’t really need a tear up at my age and I definitely don’t want two in two months! I like to drive to away games but Leeds is just hard work for the ordinary fan who doesn’t want to get the coach or doesn’t want to be escorted/kettled from the station.

We drove the playoff game when jimmy scored on a thursday night, pissing down, in the car park opposite the stand only to be met by the locals waiting to pick people off but a few millwall was parked there plus a good 50 or so who came on a coach, But no doubt will do the same if we win tomorrow, Fuckem..

I went to that game by coach & we were the first coach to get there. It was before the Leeds fans had been let in the ground and all we had was two police women on horseback between 50 of us and thousands of Leeds fans. For whatever reason they didn’t want to know which was a bit odd because two lone Leeds fans tried to attack the coach all on their own on the way home 🤷‍♂️

Spot on. People also saying we don’t take numbers because we don’t get the allocation but we rarely sell out our allocation anyway 🤷🏻
 
On the subject of away followings (and maybe this needs its own thread) is it me or are away followings across the country generally getting bigger and it’s becoming more of a thing for big numbers to travel?

I mean ours isn’t great, but years ago it would’ve been seen as decent. Most other clubs seem to have shot up though and left us behind a bit.

I've personally been enjoying going to aways over the last year or so. The atmosphere is better because there aren't any day trippers in the away end just for a start. Still get a few divs following us away though, went upto Wednesday and sat in front of me and my lad was 3 youth lads who was swearing all game for the sake of swearing... at one point he called the ref "a fucking orange wanker cunt" ... besides this i do enjoy it.

Away days are by and large a better experience and im surprised we don't travel in more numbers.

We see it nowadays at our gaff regularly mate, clubs who would barely muster a few hundred now seem to turn up with thousands. I know everyone bangs on about the money it’s generating but I fucking hate it seeing 3000 northerners bouncing up and down having the time of their lives.

If I had Elon musk type money I’d buy the club and surrounding land, demolish the walkway, dismantle all the cctv along ilderton road and bring back the bottle banks outside Greggs. See how many of the cunts turn up then.
