Emakhu three game ban

It looked like he left his foot behind to trip him, a foul. However a late dive like that is going to get a card. Not a sending off. I missed the game was emu already on a yellow? Lets hope he learns a lesson and gets on with it.

No the ref first produced a yellow for the initial "dive" and then a red for the "afters"

I’ve watched the sending off again and its a complete joke. Emakhu was causing them problems and he was clearly tripped and then while on the floor another Preston player put his boot on his back as he stood over him having a go at him for supposedly diving. Emakhu stood up with the hump and the Preston twat just fell to the floor like he had been shot…. Preston did a job on him because he was causing them problems. It’s a shame the Ref and Lino were shite and he did not just roll around holding his back instead of getting up.

One thing I noticed when Emakhu was sent off, was the 'reaction' from NH and the players. NH acts like he doesn't even see Emakhu when he walks down the tunnel & the players seemed to just overlook it.

Only person who came to his defence when it all kicked off was Esse. I'm not a fan of that. You're a team, you're in it together regardless of the error/mistakes you've made.

After making a mistake like that, you'd expect one or two of the older heads to put their arm around him, or at least stop him from being outnumbered in an altercation.

It was like being a school kid, watching someone get told to leave the classroom whilst the rest of the students watched in silence. I didn't feel any 'fight' to defend him.

Not sure why it got my back up the way it did. As an outsider, looking in, I either get that NH really doesn't like him, which might be rubbing off onto the players, or he is another Romeo with his attitude, which I don't think is the case. He strikes me as someone who really wants to push on and perform... just perhaps impatient and immaturity to decision making, something that everyone in life has had an experience in.

Head down and crack on now Emak💪

Noticed that, thought Cooper and Saville would have been straight in there when Emakhu was getting pushed around, wintle was the only one who jumped in to help him out and as you say Esse walked him down the tunnel (I believe they are good friends) and yet all we hear is how "close" the group are.

It does not matter what goes on behind closed doors if you are wearing the shirt and playing as a team they should all be in it together, never want to see one of ours left to fend for themselves while getting bullied by the other team its not our way.

Perhaps the players and Harris felt that he let them down. The lack of reaction from seasoned pro's tells it's own story in my opinion. If the players weren't appealing to the ref and showing their dislike for the decision it may be because they thought he was stupid and deserved to go. You don't reward foolishness and mistakes with hugs and apathy.

Harris was too busy discussing with Livermore what to do with the 10 men he had left, what subs to use and how to see the game out to worry about Emakhu's feelings.
Nothing more, nothing less.

They have all had time to watch it again and not one has come out to defend him especially Harris, in my opinion every player I have seen in championship games goes over when an oppo leaves his trail leg out on purpose, Emakhu did what every player does and went over then got a knee in his back while trying to get up he gets on his feet, gets confronted and goes chest to chest with him and the cheat goes down holding his head.

Emakhu must be a frustrated young man with the lack of backing from his so called team mates and Manager.

So called team mates? They don't have the benefit of umpteen replays from various angles and they are focussed on the battle. I'm guessing that at the time they thought he was daft and let the team down. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

An insight into the team camaraderie

They would have all watched the replay and not a word to defend him.
