Back from his loan spell at Yeovil where he played every game he could. Is versatile but all his games for the Glovers were at Right Back. I can only assume that his return is a precaution in case Danny gets injured and we have no cover. Of course, we do have others who could play right back. If we choose to use Billy then that leaves us one short in midfield and we can’t play Leonard as he is crocked and unlikely to be back for six weeks or so. I’m not sure whether Evans can play right back.
The purpose of sending out our youth players to play a higher grade of football is to give them experience of the rigours of the professional game. He seems to have had plenty of game time and probably has learned a lot. He will return to the U 23’s for the meanwhile. Looks like a name for the future!
