As much as I hate paphitis, I think this was de savary or Stewart till. One of those nobodies before JBShould never have been sold in the first place.
Thank you Paphitis.
Meanwhile the land value rises faster than Romain Esse. The Kent development will never happen
You might be right. As much as I hate paphitis, I think this was de savary or Stewart till. One of those nobodies before JB
Just sell on in a year or two and make few bob for no work, good business I suppose maybe that’s the plan as they have planning permission also and makes the land worth more.Meanwhile the land value rises faster than Romain Esse.
Those days are best forgotten. You might be right.
Time can fog the memory.
I think when they bought the land, they had to buy a parcel of land they didn't need. Can see a massive housing developement taking place there. Berylson Park.West Kingsdown on the back burner, too expensive at the moment. Now seen as a long term project. Now referred to as two sites, some more land bought?
Calmont road purchase is another big step forward funded by the family. With the ground and the area round the ground also in the pipeline, the next few years will be interesting. All due to the Berylson family.
Thanks![]()

Silly sausageIt was De Saveloy
Wasn’t Paphitas it was De Savary.Should never have been sold in the first place.
Thank you Paphitis.
Fucking chancer he was....Wasn’t Paphitas it was De Savary.
Think he sold it for £1 million and rented it back at £100,000.00 a year.
You do the maths!
This seems the way of a lot of companies. I remember Royal Mail selling off their properties and renting them back. At the next review, they were paying the amount they sold them for each year.Wasn’t Paphitas it was De Savary.

Berylson's have put in 120m and counting.De Savary asked someone I knew to get him nominated for the Freedom of the City of London. When they looked into him closely he had liquidated so many companies (while keeping the profitable ones) they turned him down. Basically he had (legally) knocked loads of people including some of the ones he was hoping to hobnob with.
Paphitas & De Savary didn’t lose a penny during their time at Millwall whereas both JB’s & the family are in for north of £50 million
