I don’t think it works that way. I think once a club meets the release amount its up to Esse and his agent so a bidding war is no use to us. Hope I’m wrong.

Not necessarily. Would depend on contract and terms. He might get more games than he would from the nigels. In fact I reckon he most certainly would get more games from Bournemouth. Not to mention that lovely sea air.
