Block5

Got a few of us "elders" in 47 lwr dockers who try to get some of the older songs going with varying success, fuck 'em all started there saturday lots of tourists looking at us very strangely at times but got a greek fella to join in the timeless "lino lino your a c**t, lino your a c**t".
His missus even with her limited english was'nt impressed!
Fondly remember the “Grandad give us a song” in the South upper in the 90’s for the “Fuck ‘em all” chant. Good humoured.

My favourite is “we all follow the Millwall” but only really gets sung away from home

Used to always like singing half way give us a song half way half way give a song

Even after all these years I still miss by wanky step on cold blow lane

I also really liked Millwall to the tune of amazing grace can never really get that one going now though

Also miss in your Liverpool slums you look in the dustbin for something to eat you find a dead cat and you think it’s a treat in your Liverpool slums

The Lions…….The Lions, da da da da da da da da da da….war.

Sung to the theme tune of the 1950s Vikings film starring Kirk Douglas. Always seemed appropriate for an away game.

Great memory of that film, 1983 I've been out all day Millwall at home and on it all night got home around midnight and my mum and dad were watching the Vikings on the telly, I was mesmerised, absolutely loved it.
The next weekend we were away to Hull and around 30-40 of us went into their seats, someone started the Viking chant(they obviously must have watched it as well) and gradually everyone joined in, despite losing 5-0 that was one of my all time favorite away days.

What about the age old Brighton 'We can see you coming out' 'Does your boyfriend know your here' or the not so politically correct ' I'd rather be a Ginger than a scouse' or other derivatives

My favourite football chant bitd (not specific to Millwall) was always 'You're gonna get your fucking heads kicked in.' A perfect thing. Now it seems to be associated with American wrestling🤨 The Viking Song was a sort of Millwall war chant if I ain't mistaken. And the Monk Chant is always dear to me. Quite a few around me in West Block 2 Upper keep it going.

I always liked 'oh south london' and seem to remember it used to include the line 'tits, fanny and millwall' in the 90s. Unless I've imagined it!

Shout out to the pompey game where we sang 'Graham rix, sex offender' on repeat for what felt like 90 mins. Classic.

we sat in block 12 for the 1st half of QPR then moved to our normal home in 47 via the fag exits at half time , could have been at a different club , love it there .

If my memory serves me right, we split into two singing sections in the away end, taking it turns to chant it. It was like we had a conductor directing us.

One of my favourite ones was at Upton Park when we replied to them singing “you live in a caravan” with “you live with the Taliban”

A few of my vermin mates still laugh about that today whenever we meet up
I remember that lol. When the vermin were shouting east east east London ... we replied east east east bengal as well.

Or I’d rather be a Pakistani than a Scouser vs Everton 😉😂
