Double edged sword i think mate. A walk up is coughing up nearly 40 notes for a ticket. They dump a few quid in the club shop. That revenue goes towards buying players and their wages. The more the merrier i say.I might be an outlier here but I actually preferr smaller crowds for smaller games, big crowds for big games. It stops that “day tripper”experience that was talking hold. Some things are worth more than money.
Preston brought a thousand less than the other clubs to play at the Den so far. Same fixture last season was 14,744. This season 759 Preston. Last season 874. Perhaps it's the ticket prices putting people off. My current situation and struggles means i can't afford to go and i doubt i'm the only one. It ain't cheap.Only 13,674 yesterday. Are they dropping off after last season or just a blip?
Oh and I still had a couple of Dutch pratts near me... are they all fucking tone deaf?
Wasted journey then. Burnley were down at Oxford, and he didn't make the squad(?)3000 Dutch fans skipped to Burnley?
