Alot of in-house backslapping, but why has it really gone up?
partly down to increased numbers of Away Supporters, and more southern/ London clubs. I think our hard-core is approx 13,000 and hasn't changed much. It's certainly not our breath taking, high scoring games, or impressive facilities, (toilets) sadly. Frozen ticket prices must have helped a bit. Well done J.B. Snr.

It goes beyond us.

Maybe people have finally realized that the Prem is an over priced croc of shit that only millionaires can afford, so they are seeking their football elsewhere?
It will be interesting to see how the new TV deal affects our crowds next season.
Nothing like the real atmosphere though BP is it? You must miss it? 🤔

I do, very much. That is why I will try and get to more than 2 matches next season.
I'm going to try and double that to 4, hopefully.

But there are many armchair fans who are more than happy to watch on TV.
I'm the same with some other sports, so I can understand it.

But Millwall, is something unique, as we all know so well. NOTHING like being there.

I’ve always thought that the championship was the best league in the world. Regardless of the fact that the PL dishes out the most money.

With the championship, you have the top ten teams vying for something up until the last game of the season. With the bottom ten desperately trying to avoid relegation.

Along with that, the bottom teams could always nick a win against the top and up until the end of the season, every game had importance attached to it.

With the PL o e could probably pick the top six each season, and the bottom six. Meaning that there are so many games that are void of emotion.

We are little ol Millwall, and always bring plenty to the party.

The biggest little club in the world by a country mile.

What’s the problem some have with “tourists” attending our games?

Around 1000 per game equates to circa £35,000 extra income and over, say, 20 games £700k per season 👍

Do they dilute the atmosphere? I don’t think so :shake:

Is it better to have the stadium looking fuller? Yes 👍

Let’s be positive. Best attendances since the 50’s, Regeneration given the go ahead, footballing lessons learnt from last season, one of the most promising batch of youngsters we’ve ever had etc etc.

The future should be bright, I just pray I’ll be around long enough to see all this promise come to fruition 🙏

I agree with every word, Relegation is almost certainly nailed on now.

You could be on to something there mate. I saw the other day talk of a CL Ticket being touted for a 6-figure sum, it reminded me of price of Super Bowl tickets and think about how the fuck can a genuine fan ever watch that and if that's the case why the fuck would you bother following teams/sport that just didn't give toss about you?

If you support Arsenal, Chelski or spurs unless your corporate its hard for normal supporters to get tickets. So over the years youngsters cant ge tthe bug, so they are looking further afield.
