olourful Predictions
MillwallJohn
: In the absence of any competition, retained his crown again.

Most Pessimistic Predictor Awards
Millwall Of Oz
: The winner by an absolute mile! Of his 48 predictions he forecast 41 Millwall defeats, 4 draws, just 3 victories and finished 11th overall!

Consistency Awards
Chopsboysie
: For stretching his consecutive 5-0 victory predictions to over 250! Remarkably, he collected seventeen 4 pointers (i.e. 17 clean sheets in our 20 victories).

The “10 Added Joker Points” Award
Unfortunately no one joined Salford_Lion (Mrs), DensLions and PurleyLion on the roll of honour of those who have picked up 10 added joker points in a single season, but well done to Millwall-84, The German Herman and MillwallSam who bagged 9 joker points.

Last but not least
For those of you who love statistics, in total 1540 predictions were made (down 372 on the 2023-24 season 😥), 884 (54%) forecasted a Lions victory, 336 (22%) draw and 360 (24%) defeat confirming most predictions were made using the heart rather than the head and proving, once again, that on the whole our fans are extremely loyal and optimistic.

Summary of Season

Game 1:
Not a great start with Watford’s lucky victory catching out all but 4 of us and none predicting the correct score.

Game 4: Soul Man surges into an early lead of 7 points with 4 correct results and one correct score.

Game 5: 31 predict a home victory over Orient and 3 idiots, including yours truly, waste a Home Joker. When will they learn? :slap:

Game 7: Soul Man still leads by 6 points.

Game 13: Soul Man’s lead cut to 3 as he wastes his Home Joker predicting a Plymouth win at The Den! Five successful Home Jokers played.

Game 15: All change at the top as Brusselslion edges into a one point lead.

Game 16: Brusselslion lead is short-lived when coldblower surges into the lead after collecting 10 points playing his Home Joker and predicting a 1-0 victory against Leeds:clap:.

Game 21: coldblower enters the League Ladders Hall of Fame for entering 3 predictions for a single game, all wrong :shake: and loses his lead to Brusselslion!

Game 23: Tight at the top with 2 points covering Brusselslion, coldblower and Durhamlion.

Game 24: coldblower edges into the lead correcting 2 points with his Away Joker. Millwall-84 closing in on the top 3.

Game 28: coldblower leads extends to 5.

Game 33: Out of nowhere Millwall-84 (playing his Home Joker and collecting 10 points) joins coldblower at the top of the leader board:clap:.

Game 36: coldblower edges into a 4 point lead over Millwall-84.

Game 39: Millwall-84 storms into the lead after playing his Away Joker for the crippled alice game:clap:.

Games 44-51: Millwall-84 extends his lead in Game 44 then eases to 6 points victory in Game 51. Well done Millwall-84:cup:.

That's all for now.

Enjoy the summer-break and hopefully we will all return fit and healthy in August for what could be one of the best seasons in our history 🙏

Thanks for running it @PurleyLion
BTW - I have a spreadsheet sat on my laptop I did for you earlier in the season when you'd come across one some other clubs forum/fans did (can't remember who). It had all sorts of predictions on (score, attendance etc). I noticed it yesterday when I was having a tidy up of my work folders. Happy to ping it over if you want it...

What about the most optimistic predictor?

Thanks for running it @PurleyLion

Can’t remember this but the existing approach keeps me sufficiently busy without adding to the workload 😉

Have a nice break ,and see you next season, can't believe it was my worst prediction season so far but like Wall, onwards and upwards 😀

The winners since I took over are:

2017-18: Tiptree Lion.
2018-19: WallSince70.
2019-20: coldblower.
2020-21: LennyThe Lion.
2021-22: onlyagame.
2022-23: PurleyLion.
2023-24: Salford_Lion (Mrs).
2024-25: Millwall-84.
That all very well, but who’s won the most money? :whist:
