Did Leicester think they would be challenging for top 6 this season?
Coventry have given the job to Lampard.I was surprised. You really do have to give the bloke a chance. He was hardly going to get them in the Champions league by Christmas. I can only think that a few in the dressing room have questioned his tactics and the discontent has spread wider. I also wonder whether they have somebody lined up as the timing is not good. Usually the international break is the ideal time to part company with your boss but now they have to make a quick appointment and hope the new gaffer hits the floor running. My mate wondered whether Potter could be a prime candidate but he is fast becoming yesterday’s man. Overlooked by England and Manure he may have to rebuild his career abroad or with a Championship club like Coventry. Who knows?
They’ve got some decent players, I hope for the sake of their fans Frank doesn’t cock up again, albeit I’d like to see them go down to reward Chairman for unfairly sacking RobinsCoventry have given the job to Lampard.
