    Now we're responsible for Greenland

As usual, these out of work politicians can't even get the words right. Nobody (sic) likes us we don't care. Never heard Millwall sing that. It sounds more like what Palarse would sing if anyone could be bothered about them.

    Just Back v Swans

Easily man of the match, (incidentally as was the Soton keeper) but despite numerous single and double saves was unable to keep out the easiest one which was straight at him. If Jensen is on crutches, we should put in a bid. Once again AN subs and changes wins a game. It is not lucky, it is...

    Team v Tigers

I hope I am wrong too but I used to chat with them regularly until a few years ago and they seemed to just disappear. I believe Billy was associated with the club for fifty years but the last time I saw him was shopping at Sainsbury in Sydenham. Still had avery strong accent !

    Team v Tigers

What a great Christmas present was that day, Silver. After a 1-0 defeat at Boothferry on the 27th, we turned them over, top team, 3-0 the next day. Definitely one for the memory. 40,000 at Hull and 17,000 at The Den. Was it really sixty years ago ? Tempus Fugit. It was several years later that...

    List of ex posters

OK, I'll fall for it. 80 next year and hooked since Ron and then Billy Gray were the managers and loved Pat Terry, the Brady brothers and that monster of a goalkeeper, Reg Davies. Took a girlfriend to see us lose to Kettering, November '63. She wasn't impressed. Now have daughters and...

I wonder if he will invite Andy Roberts to join him if he gets the job. They were very good friends, weren't they ................ ?

    Mark Phillips

He is a good man and proper Millwall. Started at Elms in Catford I believe and was a good inspiration for one of my grandsons at the Phillips/Dunne academy. Saw and spoke to Dunney at CVPM in his first game in charge of Tonbridge Angels in the FA Cup. Another proper gentleman. Hope they both...

    Your favourite decade following wall

Block 4 Peckham ever since it opened. Me, two daughters, three grandchildren, a friend from school back in the sixties with his wife and two mates. We just sit anywhere within our group of seats. BTW I am one of the sad old gits who have done the "92" completed first in 2014.

    Your favourite decade following wall

Yeah, what a great time that was but memories fade and when at my I age I feel they are fading faster than what I had for dinner yesterday, I just keep in my head: Stepney, Gilchrist, Cripps, Jones, Snowden, Wilson, Rowan, Julians, Brown, Dunphy, Neil. What a Fu.cking team they were. Showing...

    Recruitment Model

Cooper as club captain never gets in the ear of the ref. Now that Saville has gone, nobody gets in the ear of the ref. Time for a change. Give Lenny that job which he does when Cooper goes AWOL. One of the many things we lack at the moment is a master of the black arts. When the lino in the...

    People turn up Millwall don’t

Thanks. I probably didn't phrase that bit as well as I should but there are so many people who feel that something should be "done" about so many things, from picking up street litter to boat people but done by anyone except "them". I mentioned earlier about this site not mixing...

    People turn up Millwall don’t

Well Peckham. I reckon you and I have been up and down this road for many years, this is my sixty fourth season. It is important on here not to mix football, politics and religion but today I sense that years ago those proprtions would be 100/0/0; today probably 50/25/25. Why ? My take is that...

    People turn up Millwall don’t

Has anyone else considered this apalling situation with injuries after so many seasons. We buy top class players and within minutes, they are out injured. We get a good run and then lose the key players, injured Why is that ? And not just this season. First. Calmont Road is a park pitch at...

    Coventry in the cobblers cup

Season Ticket holders will have their seats held until midday on Wednesday. Oh yeah ? I'm in Upper Block 4 and they are only opening the Lower Blocks so having my seat held is bollox. At least I get the loyalty points.

    Your first away game

What a co-incidence Purley. My first away was also at Aldershot but in May 1965. 0-0 and Manager Billy Gray had to play to make up the eleven ! We bunked in the empty guards van without a ticket and the tram were on the same rattler out of Waterloo. Great days, oh to be young again.

    Who is our Poshest Supporter

Putting on my pedant hat, I believe the etymology of posh derives from those on passenger liners sailing out of Southampton who had good views one side and shit views the other side from cabin windows. So the expensive seats were "Portside Out and Starboardside Home." P O S H. Geddit ?

    Steve clarige

I've been at The Wall since 1962 and seen great players come and go. Some were talented and others were proper Millwall. If I picked my first team from all who I've enjoyed most, then Steve would be in it. I used to believe that he had the ball tied to his right foot on a piece of chord but it...
