Watford V The mighty lions-- Match thread--Sat 12.30 Kick off

We halved the defect today. Got to keep it tight against cov.

    Gallen (& I quote)

They’re all going to get injured. Coburn is probably out for the season having scored.

    Gallen (& I quote)

I don’t think players are put off by us any more. If so, for one Azeez wouldn’t have signed for us, he’d have gone to a Watford or palarse. It’s just a question of affording what we need now, the club have done better when they kept their mouths shut, we know what we need, I’m sure they know...

Watford V The mighty lions-- Match thread--Sat 12.30 Kick off

You wait until Cooper taps one of theirs on the shoulder in the box later on.

THE ALL NEW DEFINITIVE TRANSFER THREAD!!

Possibly. I said the other day that we should always be looking to improve (if we’re going for it). He wasn’t our first choice in the summer…. Plus he’s due an injury.

I pass there on the school run with my daughter. If you just drive up the south circ or get a 160 bus to the junction it’s not a long walk. No idea what the parking is like though.

    Benda

Bender can probably just about get minutes at Hartlepool.

We may get a decent keeper in if we’re lucky. Hopefully someone to push Max if we’re serious.

He will. Whilst I appreciate his honesty, he always shoulders the blame whether he deserves to or not.

Burnley V Wall FA Cup 3rd round Match thread

I couldn’t and still don’t give a crap about the cup (this season) so really not fussed about losing. It was shit draw against a team we don’t beat. Nice to see the kids and the dying returning. The standard of defending was poor even by our recent standards and the bender shouldn’t be...

Burnley V Wall FA Cup 3rd round Match thread

I’d like to think that if a few others are rested, the replacement having a belter against Burnley can only be a good thing all round.

Burnley V Wall FA Cup 3rd round Match thread

The cup run of 2004 fucked up a decent crack at the play offs with one of the best squads we ever had. Players themselves even said they took it easy to avoid injuries.

    Couldn’t be prouder

Rather Casper. But deffo a stand in.

    Esse

With our creativity being a bit iffy I’d have him back temporarily. Previously he was the only creative player but he could take the pressure off other players if they’re knackered or off their game. Rather a forward and a midfielder, and above all a leader.

    Just Back v Swans

I almost felt sorry for him and wouldn’t mind us signing him.

Quotes from the Charlton no life forum

Ooh a few people have asked about the walkway behind the CBL to Surrey Docks. Looks like it’s open again now.
