    Palace away

As we’re away to Crystal Palace in cup competitions for the second season running is it time to give the game a title? I’m going for “The Ear We Go Again Derby”.

Norwich v The mighty lions- Match thread.

I had a mate who lived in Rainham who l used to go there with. I’d get the tube to Upney and then walk along the path by the railway line. Not the sort of walk you’d want to do these days.

Norwich v The mighty lions- Match thread.

I saw Mott The Hoople at the Dagenham Roundhouse back in the early seventies. What a great little venue that was.

Norwich v The mighty lions- Match thread.

I was actually at that game we won 3-0 all those years ago. A few of us got the Banfields coach from the Walworth Road, or then again it might have been from their garage in Peckham Rye. I was also at a game there when we got a 2-2 draw a year or two later.

    Neil Young and the BBC.

I'm so happy that Neil Young has changed his mind about banning the BBC from showing his set at Glastonbury tonight. Watching It will be a bittersweet experience for me and my children and my extended family. On the 25th of February this year I lost my darling wife Mary. She left behind a...

    New Kit

Ordinarily I would agree with you about the placement of the badge but as this is our 140th year of existence as a football club I think that placing it centrally makes it a focal point and will make it more noticeable.

    Liam Roberts

More like Paddy Mc(mine a)Guinness. He kept goal like he was a drunk.

    RIP a true great

Sorry to read of your sad loss Mark. I don’t know if you remember but a number of years ago I posted on a thread where I said I had picked your mum up once in my cab. All the details I gave resonated with you and you said you had my words printed out to give to the rest of the family. Sadly...

    Team v Weeds

I reckon Millwall supporters are getting bored with beating Leeds. That's why the turnout appears to be low.

One for the Old Fogeys in here

I think I could near enough go through the card but I won't. The one I'll go for though is 14, Ian Gale. A forward who was part of the winning FA Youth Cup team against Man City. I'm hoping my memory is as good as I think it is.

    Mill Walldrid?

According to the presenters of the Second Tier Podcast, one of the very few English teams who could beat the mighty Real Madrid are our very own Lions. Listen how they make the case for us on how to beat the hundred times European Cup Winners. Some might scoff and say they're taking the piss...

    Oxford v Millwall match thread

I reckon if we’re going to chant the 500 mile song for Tanganga it should include his first name as well. Japh Tanganga, Japh Tanganga la la etc. It’s got a better ring to it.

    Brook Norton Cuffy Song

If you take the first three letters of BNC’s name you get Bro, which I hear is a popular term with some of the young people of today. You won’t hear me, or many on this forum I expect, calling him that but it might catch on wit the yout.

    U21s vs Burnley today

If we're going to play three at the back we have to have at least one of them who is comfortable with the ball at his feet and can play a pass on the ground. The current three nearly always appear to receive the ball on their wrong foot no matter which side it's played to them. It's time for...

    Bryan Snowden.

I remember Bryan along with Tommy Wilson as our central defenders in the team that got promoted to the old second division. Does anyone remember from that era the guttural sound of encouragement from the crowd of "Ugh Ugh Ugh" when we had a corner or a sudden attack. It would be good to hear...

    Pie mash outside the ground

I came out of the ground after the match yesterday and noticed the pie n’ mash stall was still open. Against my better judgement I took the plunge and asked for single pie and mash. I should’ve realized how bad it was going to be when the girl asked me if I wanted liquor with it. The liquor...

rockin all over the world about time for a change

For those that don’t like the Quo version of Rockin’ how about this suggestion as a compromise. Play the original version of the song by John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater fame. Then play what was the b-side of the record, a song called…….wait for it…..The Wall. As it will only be played...
