It delayed me by 25/30 minutes. Struggled to catch my booked train home. This arrangement was plain dangerous and would never pass a safety certificate inspection. That gate will be closed on Wednesday night, and it will still be quicker getting back to Surrey Queys station the longer way round...

I mostly remember hyperventilating as I climbed the stairs to my seat, and that the second half lasted for days. Plus my tears at the final whistle. I attended every game of that cup run, home and away, plus both the European games. Still got all the tickets, framed on the study wall.

I’m not one to blame the club for every little thing that does wrong, too many memories of great moments over the years. But they offer the service and on this occasion that service was nowhere near scratch. Of course they should refund
