    New Years day Ticket

I asked for a ticket with an old fart's railcard. Bloke behind the counter said "we call them alternative adolescents"!

Maybe we should also add "He's one of our own....."

    Harris Stepping Down

Had a post lunch snooze and woke to this news. Thought I was still dreaming! Could add a 'like' to almost every post on here but spent my time sorting out ticket for tomorrow. Mid week matches travelling up from Bristol never easy but need to be there to say "goodbye and thanks" to someone who...

    Millwall v Coventry match thread

As long as we don't play as we did first half against Sunderland and 2nd half against Oxford! Other way round and we should be fine.

    Team v Sky Blues

I thought the indication from NH earlier in the week was that Hutch wouldn't be fit for Saturday, might make Tuesday but more likely the following weekend at Middlesbrough. Would suggest a centre back pairing of Wes and Murray but, if NH really doesn't rate Harding, then Lennie and Wallace...

    Anyway

One of the criticisms of GR was that he didn't seem to take the FA Cup seriously and wanted to concentrate on the league. Couldn't have been said of Bomber so will be interesting to see who we get and how far we go.

Josh seemed to be struggling just before coming off on Saturday. Hopefully fit for tomorrow and Saturday as he makes a difference

    No more 4-4-2 for Harris

All about formations! Last few weeks when we've been looking to keep it tight NH has brought on Hutch and gone to 5 at the back. This week needing to win looked like it was 3-1-6 at the end. 4-4-2 so last week ;)

    Just Back v Mackems

Think Bomber prefers Danny for tight/away games but wants Joe's delivery from wide angles when we're at home and on the front foot. Would expect Danny to start at Portsmouth and Oxford.

The mighty Lions v Sunderland match thread- Saturday 3pm

Why you should never leave the ground before the game has finished!

Quite a change having 4 that can potentially start up front either on their own or in a 2 from hoping that Bradders was fit to start with no real other options. Gives Bomber choices off the bench as well. Plus Tom and Longstaff look able to play in that 9/10 role to give options to Honeyman.

Millwall Stoke - not quite a 'just back'!

Have done some work in years past in Stoke Obes and other parts of Staffordshire. Actually a conurbation of either 5 or 7 towns - depending upon which information you read - rather than 1 city so areas and people quite parochial. Have previously parked in industrial estate next to the ground...

Millwall Stoke - not quite a 'just back'!

Assuming that was the old Victoria Ground Joe. New stadium now in the middle of a pretty soulless industrial estate a few minutes from M6. Quite like that the roads around the stadium all named after past footballers - Banks, Matthews, Eastham etc.

Millwall Stoke - not quite a 'just back'!

Not normally a fan of football vlogs but came across this and it's a balanced view of us and the game. Posted it mainly as it starts with Any Marshall, I think, warming up on the pitch - never seen that before. Some might want to stop watching just before he signs off :censor:

Millwall Stoke - not quite a 'just back'!

My take on yesterday. Team selection probably dictated by demands of several tough games in quick succession. However, a formation – 2 up with 2 wide moving from 442 to 424 – was something a few on here have been dreaming about. Josh and Tom up top; Romain and Femi wide. Casper and Wintle doing...

    Team v Potters

Last season at Stoke just before Xmas was one of the worst games I endured not helped by strong wind blowing across the pitch. Going tomorrow with a hope/belief that we'll be much better. However, Stoke had a good win away mid week against Blackburn with Johansson having a good game so won't...
