Goalkeeper David Forde has admitted that our main focus going into the upcoming games is to build on the clean sheets we have kept in recent away matches.

With Cardiff City up next Forde admitted to the official site that the goals we conceded against Wolverhampton Wanderers were very poor from our point of view, but of course he was delighted with the come back and then keeping consecutive away clean sheets he feels was a great response.

But now is the time to build on that away form and keep a clean sheet at home.

‘We’ve conceded sloppy goals but to show that spirit and commitment was a big boost for us. After the game it felt like we had won. It gives us confidence we need to build on it with, hopefully, another good performance and win against Cardiff.’

With Forde now nearing his 300th Millwall appearance, it’s obviously a landmark that he’s proud of and he said on a more personal note in his interview.

‘When I first came to the club I was very excited because it was a big step up in my career. I’m very grateful both because of the success we’ve had and the impact it has had on my personal life. I’m thoroughly enjoying it here and to reach 300 games is phenomenal because it is such a passionate place to play.’
