Goalkeeper David Forde has been voted the Player of the Year for this season following a vote by fans.
The 34 year old has again been in good form this season, and has gone one better than last year where he finished as runner up to defender Danny Shittu.
Having made 36 appearances so far this season, and having kept eight clean sheets in that time, despite our own troubles it hasn’t been a bad campaign for him as he continues to enjoy the No 1 role for the Republic of Ireland as well.
Scott Malone finished in second place, and Martyn Woolford finished in third place as voted for by the fans for this seasons’ awards.
