Goalkeeper David Forde has said he’s looking for his third clean sheet of the season so far when we face relegated Fulham this weekend.
Having opened the season with a two nil victory over Leeds United and then backed that up in the Capital One Cup with a one nil victory over Wycombe Wanderers, our Republic of Ireland stopper has been delighted to see the lads continue in the form that we ended last season in.
Speaking to the official site Forde said the aim for everyone will be to keep a third clean sheet, keep this unbeaten run going and make it three wins out of three this season, especially given the people who have already written us off.
‘It was good to get another clean sheet against Wycombe this week. It was an efficient win for us, we stood up to a big test as they came out and were up for it. There is a great sense of pride at the moment and we want to keep that going, to have an unbeaten run like this gives us a great boost.’
Forde goes on to say that everyone is relishing the Fulham clash now and he jokes that they may be in for a bit of a shock as we are taking about 4000 fans to the game.
