New rules will come into play next season which will see the following, periods of football followed by rounds of boxing and fans will be able to nominate their showman or showgirl for each match and half – no sexism here.

For years the authorities have tried to combat football hooliganism and on the pitch battles between players but have now conceded that it should be part and parcel of the game. Fans have joked in the past that they should allow on the pitch rumbles, now it’s coming.
