Manager Ian Holloway has said that Diego Fabbrini has been a breath of fresh air in training after he arrived at the club earlier today.
After his loan signing was announced, the 24 year old forward is expected to go straight into the team to face Ipswich Town this weekend and speaking to the official site following his arrival, the manager explained.
‘He can play on the wing or in behind the front. He beats people, has a lot of assists and gives us options in games. All he wants to do is play football. He brings a fresh air into what is quite a stagnant group at the moment.’
The player has been handed the No 8 shirt and said of his arrival at the club.
‘I’m very happy to be here. I spoke with the gaffer and took the decision to come to Millwall and play, and to try and help win some matches. English football is much quicker and more physical – but I like it.’
