Manager Ian Holloway has added to our forward options by bringing in Watford striker Diego Fabbrini for a loan spell.

The 24 year old joins us on a 93 day long loan that will expire on April 19 and he linked up with colleagues for the first time earlier today for training and he is in line for his debut when we face Ipswich Town this weekend.

The player has been capped at international level for Italy, and he gives us a few options as he can operate on either wing, as well as an advanced midfielder behind a lone striker.

He began his career at Empoli where he made 56 appearances and having impressed, Udinese quickly snapped him up. He then went on loan to Palermo prior to his move to Watford back in the summer of 2013.

He has since made 23 appearances for them, scoring once.
