The FA Cup is still, despite not always getting respect it deserves from some, widely regarded as ‘the greatest cup competition in the world’ and this, after all the pre-qualifying rounds that are just about sorted gets underway proper in November as dreams of cup glory get underway for Football League clubs, including ours!

Earlier this evening the draw for the FA Cup first round was made with Millwall knowing who they would face as they entered into the competition.

Following the draw, made on BBC2, the Lions know they’ll be taking on AFC Fylde with a place in the second round at stake, which would move them closer to the third round when the ‘big boys’ come out to play and we’ll be the ones looking to cause an upset!

This draw saw us given a home tie.
