Right back Alan Dunne has called on Millwall to improve their home form following our 3-1 victory over Blackpool the other week.

His pre match interview in the programme focuses on how Millwall turn the The Den into a fortress if we plan on kicking on this season, and after playing eight games in the league, four of which were at home, Millwall have only won won one and picked up three points and clearly that is something that needs to improve.

‘We managed to beat Blackpool but on the whole we have to get our home record back on track. It hasn’t been good enough for a long while now and if we are to have any chance of success this year we need to work on getting that right.’

Dunne adds that the fans are massive for the players at home and they more than play their role over 90 minutes, so it’s up to the players to rise to that and play their role more often in picking up points and as many wins as possible.

They key to that for Dunne is in starting games properly at home and stamping our mark on the match early on, and giving 100% at all times so we don’t give the opposition opportunities through avoidable sloppy errors.

With Leeds up next Dunne says having had some fantastic games against them over the years, bragging rights are at stake this weekend and as the players know that, they know what’s at stake for the fans and they’ll be doing their all to give them another result that sends them all home happy.
