Millwall have tonight confirmed that stalwart Tony Craig has mutually cancelled his contract at the club.
The 32 year old has made 322 appearances for Millwall over three spells in his career and he leaves now to pursue new challenges.
He made his debut back on April 26, 2003, in a three all draw with Nottingham Forest before appearing at The Den and scoring the following week in our victory over Coventry City.
With some appearances the following season, he headed to Wycombe Wanderers but on his returns he started to make the left back spot his own.
Having moved on to Crystal Palace in the summer of 2007, he was back with us on a loan spell just seven months later and that loan turned permanent in the close season and he played a key part in our journey to the League One Play Off final where we lost out to Scunthorpe.
We of course bounced back via Wembley the next season with victory over Swindon Town. Stepping up to the Championship as we held our own in the second tier, Craig then took in a loan spell at Leyton Orient in the latter part of 2011 but he returned again with another 32 appearances for us.
The summer of 2012 saw him move to Brentford and skipper them to automatic promotion, and July 2015 saw Neil Harris bring him back with Wembley heartache before promotion was once again secured.
