Millwall have confirmed that we will host Portuguese side CD Tondela at The Den in pre season.
Our opposition were promoted from Segunda Liga last season, Portugal’s equivalent of the Championship, so they should prove a good test for us on Saturday August 1.
The game carries a 2pm kick off and should be an interesting test as they go into the top flight for the first time in their history in 2015-16.
The match will also be manager Neil Harris’ first official home game as our permanent manager, and the only friendly this summer on home soil.
Given the date of the game it’s likely to be the final warm up ahead of the kick off of the new League One season.
Ticket details are still to be announced but the pre season schedule so far reads.
