With Millwall already announcing that the clash against Burton Albion could well be postponed owing to the November international break and call ups, and advising fans not to make plans for the trip that was scheduled for November 14 so they weren’t out of pocket – that postponement has now been confirmed this week.

With players receiving word of international calls, we have hit the expected three player rule that enables us to apply for the game to be bounced and rearranged owing to those players missing.

A new date has not yet been set for the clash, but with discussions ongoing with Burton and the Football League it won’t be too long before a fresh date is set in the calender.

As for the beamback, our first ever trip to Fleetwood’s Highbury Stadium on Tuesday November 24 will be screened at the ground with the club knowing it’s a hell of a long trip for fans to make on a midweek night.

The game kicks off at 7.45pm and a live stream has been arranged so that fans can watch it in the warmth and comfort of The Den’s Executive Lounge with doors opening at 6pm.

Legends Jimmy Carter and Brian Horne will be in attendance as they host the evening and in the ticket price for admission is a chilli con carne meal.

It goes without saying ‘bar services’ will be available.

Tickets are £10 adults and £5 U16s.
