Following our return from the Algarve, we kick off our pre season friendly fixtures tonight at 7.45pm against Bromley.

Speaking to the official site ahead of the game, manager Neil Harris was obviously excited given the work that we had done in pre season training so far, and he explained.

‘This game has come too soon for Paris Cowan-Hall who is stepping up his rehab this week and might be ready for a game next week. Lee Gregory has a little niggle and won’t play at Bromley but should be fine for Wimbledon. It’s been great to see David Forde back with the group, but again he needs a bit more work before he plays a game so I’d expect him to feature at Wimbledon.’

Carlos Edwards and Jamie Philpot both continue to make good progress on their own injuries, but they too will be missing tonight and have been tentatively pencilled in for the game against Kingstonian before they fully return to first team duties.

‘Apart from those I’ve mentioned, everyone should get a run out at Bromley. Some will play a half, others may get 60 minutes or longer. This will be a good test for us at this stage and I’m looking forward to seeing how we’re shaping up in games after the work we’ve done so far.’
