Manager Ian Holloway has called on the team to show a big response when we face table toppers Bournemouth following the Boxing Day hammering we took against Norwich City.

Bournemouth will prove to be a tough test in their own right as they are enjoying a fantastic season and are in great form themselves, and ahead of the this mini run of festive fixtures confidence for a win would’ve been higher against Norwich than our next opponents, so it’s easy to worry the worse ahead of this one now.

Speaking to the official site ahead of the game, the manager explained.

‘Obviously I will be looking for a big response against Bournemouth. It wasn’t so long ago that we went to their place and drew two all after being two nil down. We need that sort of performance and we also need the fans to stay with us, because if they don’t it will be even more difficult for us.’

Holloway says that the positive from our first half to the season is that we now have the second half of the season to show real improvement, real form and real consistency and that’s what he’s demanding from all the players now and he wants to see that begin tomorrow as a positive result against the table toppers would be an immense statement.
