Defender Mark Beevers has said that the players are very confident that they can cause another upset this season and take maximum points off Queens Park Rangers when we face them this weekend.

We go into the game as underdogs obviously, but we have won our last three games away from home, and with QPR having now secured their play off spot, maybe it’ll be a good time for us to meet them and extend that record to four successive wins on our travels.

Speaking to the official site ahead of the game, Beevers said that everybody within the camp was fired up to get the win and extend our six game unbeaten record and he doesn’t believe we should fear our opposition.

‘You look at the league table and it’s still really tight. It’s still in our hands so we’ve got to go to QPR and get a good result. We’ve enjoyed playing away from home and it’s just been a case of needing to turn our home form around.’

Beevers says that going into the match our preparations will have been the same as Forest, Wigan and Middlesbrough, so the team know they are more than capable of beating anybody on our day, we just have to ensure it’s our day again.

‘There’s no reason why we can’t go there and get three points, which would be massive.’

Sitting a point clear of the drop zone now, it is definitely in our own hands and a win would leave us safe should Blackpool lose and being safe a game before the end of the season probably wasn’t a position many thought we be in a few months back.
